School Uniform

Where To Buy

Tie, book bags and PE Bags are available to purchase from school.

All other uniform can be purchased from KarlSports, please use this website.

Boys' Uniform

  • Charcoal grey trousers (shorts in Summer if preferred)

  • Navy blue v neck jumper

  • White shirt

  • School tie

  • Sensible black shoes not trainers or boots.

  • Black or grey socks 

Girls' Uniform

  • Charcoal grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers.(shorts in Summer if preferred)

  • Navy blue v neck jumper

  • White shirt

  • School tie

  • Sensible black shoes not trainers or boots; shoes should have a low heel and be suitable for a playground environment

  • Black or grey tights or socks

PE Kit

PE is part of the National Curriculum for schools and is compulsory.  All children must do PE.  If your child is unable to do PE, a note must be provided to explain why.

All classes at HFJS have one indoor and one outdoor PE lesson each week.

All jewellery, including earrings, must be removed for PE and Swimming

PE

  • Plain navy blue shorts.

  • T-shirt in ‘house’ colour:

    • Lancaster - Red

    • Ferrers - Yellow

    • Wykeham - Green

    • Chichele - Blue

  • Trainers

  • PE Bag

In colder weather the children may wear tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirts.    

A selection of secondhand uniform can be purchased from the school office.

Swimming

  • Towel

  • One piece costume for girls

  • Trunks not Bermuda shorts for boys

  • Swimming hat available from the school office

All children must change out of PE kit and into school uniform following PE, even if it is the last lesson of the day.
